This is an assortment of videos I've made, as I learn to use Windows Moviemaker. Lots of local stuff from where I live, plus some creative stuff. Also, excerpts from hard to find shows, transferred with my trusty new SONY cam. Harry Chapin, Dave Allen, BNL, Paul McCartney and maybe some really vintage Bette Midler. Got any requests? Stay tuned!

When my kids were little we would go to his shows it was always real classy and fun
In the early eighties, my wife and I were driving to our honeymoon. We had plugged in his cassette. She bawled her eyes out on this one.
I heard this song when I was very young- and it moved me so much! Decades later- I am still moved to tears. So beautiful & thoughtful! RIP Harry
How I wish to have been there. Beautiful
I cry everytime I try to sing this masterpiece 😢 ❤Love you Harry
I'm crying with laughter 😂😂😂...he was a genius, an absolute utter legend...wherever you are Dave, I bet you're keeping them laughing 😅.
Your stories and your wisdom are so missed. Rip harry
If the pope did wank all the cardnels would have fly at least ten meters away. He would go for 10 mins stright
I had front row seats to see him on Saturday night in Toledo and he died on Thursday my wife and I were devastated it would have been our third time to see him but never front row
I still miss Harry 40 plus years later.
I was on a business trip to New York Island when Harry died! I had all his records. He will never be replaced in my heart. So nice to hear him again thanks for posting this.

Great Video!!!!!
I mis you , Harry.
This is probably my favorite song of Harry's and one of my favorite songs of mine, period. I first heard it on the Greatest Stories Live album when I was 12 and the song resonated with me even then. 48 years later, this song hits my emotional core just as much as it did back then. I play music for the love of it and this song was a big reason why.
I was at Westbury Park N.y. when they announced he was killed on L.IE 495 long Island ny talk about feeling bad...don't remember a dry eye....cs71 ?72 ? Sucked.. I.
All I can say is...wow!
Beautiful. <3
You cannot kill the love one has for music.
Saw him live in Winnipeg and Harry and the band out on a fantastic show - still play his songs and enjoy his ballads so much!
Seems like computer class today...
I watched this entire concert for the first time, on VHS tape, on my 9th birthday in 1982 and I fell in love with Harry. I have loved him ever since…. He was far realer to me than my own father and I think he replaced my father in my mind at around that age…. He was wonderful. Miss this man and his precious soul…
I saw Harry and his group 1979 in Atlanta GA , 3000 lbs of bananas his music impressed me and I have given time to learning to pickup the banjo, Happy Healthy and Enthusiastic, let's pick
One of our favorite singers, poet, humanitarian. Was only able to see him on stage once. That was at Notre Dame, South Bend, Indiana. Thank goodness Harry’s music lives on. ♥️🎼
I was blessed to have known Harry. What an amazing human being and person. I was at the Tribute at Carnegie Hall and was honored escort his widow Sandy on stage at Live Aid in 1985 to accept the Harry Chapin Award from Jeff Bridges and Kenny Loggins. I wish I could post some pictures here....
I saw Harry Chapin in the fall of 1977 at the little college in western Florida that I was attending. He asked for a volunteer to come out of the crowd to sing Mr. Tanner's part. Of course we already knew he would and had a ringer lined up. It was such a wonderful touch to a magnificent evening. Harry Chapin was taken from this world far too early.
I'm proud and honored to have been Harry's lighting company for most of his 1974 through 1976 concerts. I still come to tears hearing his and Big John's harmonies. Best time of my life.
As a fellow LD for musicians and in theatre, and as a huge fan of Harry's from my youth, seeing him annually at Ontario Place Forum in Toronto where I grew up, I keep him musically in my heart my entire life, I'm glad to read your comment.
Saw him at the purple monster in Sarasota, Fla. Seats I had were eyeball to eyeball with this wonderful man. Got to meet him after the show. Yes I stammered, a lot. Great man! Still cry at some songs. Old man crying? Wonderful thing it is.
When I was a young man I used to go to sleep and listening to Harry Chapin
I pretty much cry every time I hear this song and I've heard it 100 * 4000 times
This song/exquisite story touched my soul. See
saw him live at the Hexagon in Reading England we were in front row he stood on my coat and sang MAIL ORDER ANNIE i was in total shock when i heard he had died i was heart broken .i listen to his albums all the time.
Believe me you are not the only one who bawls when he sings this song
I sold one car mainly because of the excessive number of things that it beeped at me for,it was like dealing with a fractious baby.I now have one that just beeps at me if I have left the lights on which is helpful.
If you like Harry, listen to Corey’s coming. One of his best songs in my opinion. 🙏
Course i will not. WeereFree.
🎉❤😢😂❤🎉 1:00
I’m fine with the first ending, but the 3th one sucks.
I drive that road, Moosic Street, a lot. Nasty curve and hill!!
love dave rip
Why is Harry NOT in the Songwriter's Hall of Fame??? What can I do to help make it happen?
Is that Jerry Scheff on bass?
And is that a bottle of milk on the table next to him?
